London Olympic has finally kicked off. Some of the biggest names involved in this London Olympic such as Spain’s Juan Mata, Brazil’s Neymar, Great Britain’s Ryan Giggs and many more, are spearheading the headlines but there are some other great players who deserved to be on the positive side of the newspaper reporting. Junpiter Futbol shares with you.

After the first game between United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Uruguay, Manchester City’s Luis Suarez, offered to trade his jersey with UAE’s number-15, Omar Abdul Rahman. This skilful midfielder who is currently plying his trade with Al Ain, was all over the place against the Uruguayans! Not only he was involved heavily in the game, Omar also set up the first goal for his skipper Esmail Mattar.

At the age of just 20 years ago, Omar has represented UAE U-20, U-23 and also earned a few senior caps for the UAE National Team. Although this young man is just 20 years old, he has already captured the attention from some Spanish clubs. Even Suarez was full of praise of this young man, the future certainly looks bright for him.

UAE will be playing against Great Britain on Sunday, and Senegal on Wednesday. Do remember to catch hold of this fuzzy-haired player in action on your TV. Highlights of Omar’s from the game between UAE & Uruguay, click HERE
