The official 2014 LionsXII Squad was unveiled at a press conference yesterday at Jalan Besar Stadium.
The press conference was graced by FAS’ management including FAS President, Mr Zainudin Nordin; FAS General Secretary, Mr Winston Lee, S.League CEO, Mr Lim Chin and LionsXII Head Coach Mr.
The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) held a pre-match press conference earlier today at the Amara Hotel for the AFC Asian Cup 2015 qualifying match between Singapore and Syria that will be played tomorrow, 15 October 2013, 7.30 pm, at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
Fans, come show your appreciation for the Lions this coming Sunday as they return from Bangkok. Fans are invited to come down to the Jalan Besar Stadium at 3pm to celebrate a fantastic year for Singapore football.

While watching Singapore U-16 played this evening, one part of my soul travelled back 17 years where the 1995 class of Indra Shadan, Ahmad Latiff and Yazid Yasin took on some of the bigger youth teams at the old single-tier Jalan Besar Stadium.

24th Canon Lion City Cup kicked-off today at Jalan Besar Stadium. And immediately, one of the hot favorites, Singapore U-16, announced their arrival with a 2-1 victory over Ajax Amsterdam!
Ajax played a typical European style which we were expecting; quick short passes penetrating opponent’s half.
