Tiger Street Football 2012

Read Time:1 Minute, 6 Second

Tiger Street Football 2012 kicked off with a Press Conference held at the magnificent Marina Bay Sands Museum this afternoon. Tiger Street Football’s ambassador, former Ajax, Milan, Juventus, Barcelona, Internazionale, Tottenham Hotspurs and Dutch International, Edgar Davids, was here in Singapore and addressed the Media under the lovely sun.

Wearing a Monta white cap, Edgar Davids mentioned that street football is fast and by playing the sport, it’s going to lay down the foundation of the technical skill. In split-second, a player would have to make a quick decision within the restricted amount of space in a game of street football. So gradually when the players play in a wider space of an eleven-aside game, it would help tremendously.

In fact, we should all be grateful to Tiger Beer for bringing this competition into the community. Edgar Davis also agreed and shared the same sentiment that street football is the fundamental for football, and the game also change the lives of people in some other countries. In Asia, Tiger Street Football is going to lay the foundation for the game, for the community and he would want to contribute to the development.

So can’t seems to catch enough of Edgar Davids? Head down to Clarke Quay now to catch Tiger Street Football 2012!
