EPL Masters Football Singapore Cup 2012 held its first press conference today, announcing the upcoming excitement in October is sure to rock Singapore football scene! Addressing the media this afternoon were former Manchester Utd legend, Paul Parker, and Football Focus Asia’s CEO, Robert Teasdale.
During the press conference, Paul Parker shared his experience playing in the EPL Masters prior to this Singapore’s stop. Particularly sharing with the media on what could be expected from former Liverpool and Manchester Utd’s striker, Robbie Fowler and Andy Cole, this coming October at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. At the other end of the table, Football Focus Asia’s CEO, Robert Teasdale, was firing questions at Paul Parker to the delight of all journalists presented.
When asked by media, what was his expectation for this tournament, Robert said that he wanted to lay down the foundation this year as they were looking at organizing this tournament for the next 5, 10 years. “The difference between Singapore and other countries is that there is a plan here to make football work in the future, that’s why we are here” added Robert.
Masters Football is an established indoor football tournament that has been running in the UK watched by football fans for over a decade. It brings together the best ex-pros the game has ever seen, such as Robbie Fowler, Andy Cole, John Barnes, Ian Rush, Bryan Robson, Gianfranco Zola, Ray Parlour and Steve McManaman, who all compete on the Masters circuit.
